What happen to Louisa?
« on: Sunday 13 July 14 13:10 BST (UK) »
Louisa Jarvis was baptised in Madeley, Shropshire on the 7th of Aug 1816 the daughter of Dorothy Mansell and Samuel Jarvis. Samuel died in 1816 and Dorothy in 1824 and Louisa was left in the care of her Mother's sister and her husband, Margaret and Patrick Delany. Louisa appears with them on the 41 and 51 census in Dudley. Her aunt and uncle doth died in the mid 1850's and I've been trying to workout what happened to Louisa. I've looked at various marriages but can't pin point her. Any help much appreciated.

A few online  public  trees  have   Daniel   ( father Absalom Edwards)  living in Snitterfield   Warwicks   in 1861,  a widow  with  a 10 year old  son ,  maybe  he was widowed a second time ?

Yes spotted the records for Daniel of Snitterfield, first wife died 1853, just trying to find a burial record for Louisa. Bit of a fibber with his age on marriage records, he was born c1816.

Possible third marriage:

Thanks to you both for your replies. I'd looked at the marriages with Gutteridge and Gubham amongst them but couldn't decide if any of them were possible matches. The marriage in 1855 to Daniel Edwards looks good as it gives Louisa's father as Samuel who was a Miner. Looks like she died quite  soon after the marriage - there are 3 possible deaths - Dudley in 1856, Wolverhampton in 1857 and another in Dudley in 1860. Can I please ask if the Marriage record is available to view online?
