Anc tree says Leonard Burgess born 28 June 1917 in  Not sure and died 16 April 1989 in  Somerset West, Western Cape, South Africa.
Married to Thelma Iris Wright - born 23 March 1921 in  Not sure and died 31 December 2003 in  Somerset West Western Cape South Africa.
Have 1 daughter listed - no details.

UK Incoming - Thelma Burgess born 1901 Durban, South Africa to London arriving 6 October 1923 on the Grantully Castle - 3rd class. Thelma aged 22 years, milliner. Going to 13 North Road Cardiff.

Out bound 26 feb 1924 - Thelma Burgess - London to Algoa Bay, South Africa on the Grantully Castle - also listed Mrs M aged 49 years and Miss O Burgess aged 3 years - last address 12 North Road. Cardiff.

If we use the ages shown on that 1911 census, they must have emigrated after Margueritte's birth in 1896, but before Lionel's birth in 1898.

Incidentally, Ancestry had Lionel transcribed as Linel Burgiss, born in S. Aprila, Glamorgan, Wales?!?! :o ::) ;D
