Curragh Birth

I'm trying to find information on the birth of Robert Dance born at the Curragh in 1868,
His Father was James Dance mother Elisabeth/ Eliza, James was serving with the 21st Foot regiment.
any help would be most welcome.

Can't find him in the Civil Registration for some reason but RootsIreland gives a result for a Baptism in the Curragh RC 1868 father James mother Elizabeth.

Thanks for your reply, do you know if the mothers maiden name would be on the Certificate?
as that my main reason for getting it.

Bearing in mind that the curragh was a british military encampment at that time. it could be possible that robert dance was born in england.
Could be worth checking out.
