Swannell Family (Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and Buckinghamshire)

Hi all

I am related to an Elizabeth Swannell who married Robert Gibbins  in 1803 and am trying to link a Family Name that may or may not have been passed along.

Robert and Elizabeths first son was William ( Pancras/Pancoust) Gibbins and there was always the understanding it was Pancras until I spotted a marriage between a William Swannell and a Mary Pancoust - who I have seen on a tree on IGI/FS as parents of Elizabeth born 1783. Having had my daily exercise jumping to conclusions I changed the middle name to Pancoust.

I have also got an Elizabeth Swannell born to an Edward and Sarah in 1783 , which fits a mention in a will.

If someone could clear this up it would be wonderful.

I have William Swannell baptised 27/7/1760 Pavenham son of William Swannell & Martha Wright; who married Mary Pancoust born c1765 Tyringham, Bucks; on 8/8/1782 at Tyringham. Daughter Elizabeth was baptised 28/5/1783 at Tyringham & there's a note saying she married Robert Gibbins in 1803 but I've not researched this. Their next son was John Pancoust Swannell born c1785.

William's sister Martha married by gt-gt-gt-grandfather Thomas Partridge

Elizabeth married Robert in Tyringham in 1803 so it links

Now to find baptism for William. Another thread has Pancras in the Will Index. But I still feel Pancoust fits

William Swannell was baptised Felmersham on 28 Dec 1729 son of Thomas Swannell & Judith Crouch. He married Martha Wright at Chellington on 26 July 1753.
I have it that Thomas was born c 1695 Little Horwood Bucks
