This is a small file at only 80 kbs and you can post up to 500kbs on here...a scan at a resolution of 300dpi will bring out the fine detail and will produce much better results and give a good printout...this is only scanned at 72dpi....whilst it can be done...the extra effort will be worth it.

 This is not my photograph I am helping out a rootschatter by posting them.
Does this mean the actual photo has to be rescanned, if so can you provide instructions so that it can be rescanned to 300dpi please by the owner.

Hi Wendy,

The original image was scanned with 72 dots per inch this means that for every inch of photograph there are 72 square pixels that make up the image. If you make the image larger in size this does not improve the image I am afraid. If the image can be re-scanned (changing the settings to 300 DPI) this means there will much more detail as it will record 300 dots per inch recording so much more detail.
