Hello

Richard Steel, born 1811 in Bewcastle had several children, but he had five sons that all died young. The children are;

STEEL    Leonard    18    Longtown    10b   330

Hi,

The death certificates would have that information for you - it isn't openly available online.  Bear in mind smallpox epidemic was around 1871 - 1881

I wouldn't consider any of those deaths as being particularly young? ::)
