Edwin and Emily Newsome and Family

Hello,
       Edwin Jackson Newsome, 1871 - 1925, married Emily Bullamore, 1870 - 1927, during 3rd quarter of 1887 in Scarborough, where Emily was born, and they were living there in 1891 census. By 1901 census, they had moved to Mount Pleasant, Normanton, Wakefield, and by 1911 census they were living at 159, Alverthorpe Road, Wakefield.
       According to 1911 census, they had 8 children by that time, but unfortunately 4 had died. The 4 living children at that time were:
       Lily, born 1889
       Rhoda, born 1891
       Mary Jane, born 1893
       Edwin, born 1896

       I have identified two of the dead children at that time
       John Abraham, 1887 - 1894
       Beatrice, 1898 - 1902

       But who are the other 2?
       Does anybody know, or can anybody help me to identify them?

Two possibles from Freebmd both Wakefield.

Thomas Joseph  born March quarter 1903 died Sept quarter 1903

Jack  born June quarter 1910  died Sept quarter 1910

The 6 you have are all evenly spaced aren't they, about every 2 years starting after the marriage so I would look for 1900 - 1902 -

There are a large number of deaths of young children in Wakefield at that time

Annie died Mar 1901 Wakefield age 2.

Looking at dates of children you have:

Marriage in 1887

Births: 1887
           1889
           1891
           1893
           1896
           1898

The children seem to have been at intervals of a couple of years. Possibly one between 1893 and 1896 otherwise I would think it is after 1898.

Only problem with that is Edwin was born 1896 Wakefield and Beatrice 1898 Wakefield, so the family were there by 1896.

I think the problem is, that unless you can find baptisms, there is no way of being sure which children are yours without buying certificates.
