where is he from?

I have recently unearthed some information about my paternal great grandparents. My one surviving aunt had no knowledge of any names apart from her parents but after a look through some old photos we came across one of her grandparents with their names that had been in a drawer for over 40 years. My grandfather was english but in his later years lived and passed away in Llanelly.  His name was George Parker and was born about1884 +-1 year. His parents were John and Elizabeth but I have no idea where they are from.  What can I do next?

George married Amy Margaret Edwards 27th March 1918 at Llanelly.

Hi keyboard86. I haven't done any research since that date and the photos found by my aunt have given me a push to get going again.  I won't be able to visit the archives for a while as I'm a coal merchant and this is my busiest time of year. Hopefully a visit will be done in the spring.

George married Amy Margaret Edwards she was born in 1894 and died in 1944 in Llanelly her mother was Esther Davies her father was John Edwards born 1863. John's father was Thomas Edwards and he married Ann James, Esther father was Joseph Davies. this should give you something to go on.

A little more for you, John Parker (1864) the one who married Margaret Howells (1865) mothers name was Rachel maiden name unknown born 1837 in Camarthen in 1881 at the age of 44 was a Green Grocer. so far John and Margaret had four children Henry John (1887) William T (1889) George (1890) Mary Ellen (1891) all born in Llanelly, George wait on to merry Amy M Edwards (1894) they had John Graham (1920)
