G Edwards General Outfitters

I am trying to ascertain whether a General Outfitters shop called "G Edwards" circa 1913/1914 was in Pinxton or South Normanton or somewhere else close by.

My grandmother, Lucy Clarke was a trainee milliner there.  She was born in Pinxton in 1896, lived in Kirkby Cliff, and married Leslie Ward a South Normanton boy.

I expect the shop is long gone, but may be listed in Trade Directories, census etc?
