Looking back, I cant find a Godbeer / Soper Marriage, but in 1891 they were together in Exeter, with a Sister Emma Reynolds .... thus this may be Louisa's 1st Marriage ..

Marriages Mar 1870

NORTON  Martha    Exeter  5b 148
REYNOLDS  Louisa     Exeter  5b 148
Soper  William Henry     Exeter  5b 148
Squire  Robert     Exeter  5b 148

Yes, a few years earlier than I was searching ..... couldnt find them together in the 1881 census ... tho there is a Soper (not Godbeer) family with no forenames, which match the Sopers seen in 1891 .....
