John Mitchell b. 1743 Mevagissey

Looking for a marriage record for John Mitchell b. 1743 Mevagissey. I can find Banns in June of 1770 for John Mitchell and Elizabeth Thomas, widdow of the parish of Gwinear, but no marriage record in either Mevagissey or Gwinear. I also tried St. Austell as many Mevagissey people got married there.

Also would like to know Elizabeth's maiden name.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. You'd think after doing genealogy for 30 years I'd try different spellings. *face palm* Looked for the actual records but Familysearch.org doesn't have Gwinear for those years.

Now how to figure out Elizabeth's maiden name.
