What about a baptism for Mark?

Looking over the information, he is most likely her father

thanks

There are however published trees for the Trewartha family with info which is all over the place and they don't have Ann married to Teague.

Regards
Heywood

I have Trewartha ancestors in Gwennap and can confirm that many trees published online are faulty.  Parish records (there are some good transcriptions online) are the only reliable source.  My tree doesn't have a Teague marriage, but that only means that I haven't confirmed the information "beyond reasonable doubt".

All the best
Philip

If you are sure "beyond reasonable doubt" that Anne is the daughter of Mark Trewartha:

Mark TREWARTHA bap 24 Jul 1780   bur 11 Oct 1841 Gwennap
m 4 Oct 1800 Mary HITCHENS

Hi Trish,

I did check the baptisms on free reg and family search and nothing came up

I don't think we have enough evidence to prove that Mark is her father beyond doubt, the death certificate would likely have one of the children in the 1841 census listed as the informant, however it is at the moment the most likely candidate

Stephen Treague's baptism was in Redruth 1800 to parents John and Mary

There is a Elizabeth Treague and James Treague born in 1805 and 1803, Stephen's siblings

Elizabeth married James Stephens in 1829

Only possible marriage in Redruth is in 1792 between John Teague and Mary Nicholls
