1851; 1861 James Little Lookup in Kilmarnock
« on: Sunday 03 July 05 21:34 BST (UK) »
If anyone has access to either the 1851 or 1861 census I would be really grateful if they could check for any details on James Little born 1826 (aged about 25 in 1851 and 35 in 1861).  He was born in Sanquar but seems to have lived in Kilmarnock (14 East Shaw St, Kilmarnock and 16 Gilmour St).  His parents were David and Margaret Little and his wife was also named Little.
Many thanks
Jenny

Hi, I have been doing some research on my ancestor James Little and while browsing the internet I came across this site and your post.  I see it's been here for quite a number of years but I wondered if you still had an interest in finding out more about him.
Thanks

Hi Highland Girl and welcome to Rootschat,

It looks like JennWales who posted the request about James Little has not logged on to Rootschat since 2006. If she still has the same email address as she did then she will receive an email alert advising that there has been a response to her post. However if the email address provided is no longer valid she will not be aware of your post.

If you are looking for information or help you can start your own thread. Rootschatters are a friendly bunch and there's  always someone (usually a few folk) who are willing to lend a hand.

Looby :)

Hi HighlandGirl,

Welcome to RootsChat.

I am very sorry but Jenny's email notification has just bounced back to us saying that it is no longer in use.  I have done a little googling and have possibly been able to send her a message to let he know of your new reply. Fingers crossed we see Jenny very soon.

Regards

Sarah :)

Hi Sarah, thanks for the info. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I forgot to check the website. I had a bit of info for her but she's probably discovered what she was looking for by now.
Thanks, Ann
