Gibbings of North Tawton and beyond

I've managed to find of many Gibbings from the town of North Tawton but am struggling to find a link between the Gibbings from my family of the same village. I have reached a struggle in my research so I'm asking if anyone can provide any of these details:

-Parents of John Gibbings (1791-? Born in Sampford Courtenay, Devon)
-Maiden name of Alice Gibbings(1791-1876 Died in St. Thomas, Devon), wife of John Gibbings
-Maiden name of Susanna Gibbings(1821-1899 Born in North Tawton), wife of John Henson Gibbings
-Maiden name of Lucy Mary Gibbings(1868-1950 Born in London, Died in Devon), wife of Samuel Gibbings
-Death date of Samuel Gibbings (1861-? Born in North Tawton)

Also any other information regarding any member of this family would be ideal and hugely appreciated,

There is a marriage which has been wrongly transcribed on FreeBMD for John Henson Gibbings, have looked at the original record and is most likely HENSON.

June Qtr. 1854 Okehampton district

John Tevsop Gibbings to Susanna DURANT, which ties in with the 1861 census entry as their daughter on it is named Elizabeth DURANT Gibbings.

There is a SUSANNA DURANT born 26 March 1821 bapt. 13 May 1822 Independant North Tawton. Parents: Thomas and Martha Durant, he a wagon proprietor.

But there is also a  Susanna Durant born c1823 daughter of William and Elizabeth Durant ( Which I can see in the census) which fit better with the names given to John H and Susanna Gibbings children.

Samuel Gibbings and Lucy Mary KING

After doing a bit more research it would appear that this was a second marriage for Lucy Mary. Her first marriage was in Okehampton district 1891 to William H King. Her maiden surname was RISBRIDGER daughter of George and Martha Risbridger who by 1891 census are living in Okehampton district.

This could be a possible death for Samuel Gibbings taken fron his probate record

Samuel GIBBINGS of 198 Peverell Park Road Plymouth died 1st May 1943. Probate Llandudno on 5th July to Lucy Mary Gibbings widow, George Henry Gibbings veterinary surgeon and Samuel Mabin retired solicitors clerk.
Effects: £1265  11s   6d.

FreeBMD has the death registration record (June Qtr. 1943 Plymouth )and his age at death as 82.

 Probate of Lucy Mary Gibbings of 198 Peverell Park Road Plymouth widow died 17 March 1950. Probate London 5th May to Kathleen Mary Towill (wife of William Henry Towill) and Roland Edwards solicitors managing clerk.

According to the census records John Gibbings born 1791 Sampford Courtenay was married to someone called MARIA who was born in Porlock c1790.

Given that John HENSON Gibbings has the middle name of Henson maybe that is the maiden surname of Maria

From Porlock baptisms there is this

Maria HENSON bp. 8 June 1789 Porlock dau. of John and Mary Henson.

Can't find a marriage for the pair though.

John Gibbings late of North Tawton in the county of Devon Yeoman died 8 July 1866. Will was proved Exeter by the oath of John Henson Gibbings a Yeoman, the son and sole executor.

Just done a search of the names John Gibbings and Maria Henson on FindMyPast and those names came up as marrying in Morebath Devon 1815, which is midway between Porlock and North Tawton.

They may not have married each other and could be a coincidence but maybe someone with a sub to FindMyPast could help with this.
