Marion & Co. the card producers date coded (we believe) their cardstock from 1880. Although it's still a work in progress & sometimes can be quite baffling as there are slight variations within any given year this one with quotes each side & 2 dashes below is one that's known, also this cardstock is a well known design.

Can my photo be dated from the back please?
It is Caleb C Smith again.
My great grandma Lilian Pennington was born at the end of August 1889 in Lincoln.
Judging by her age here, she looks around two years old, or possibly 3 at the very maximum I would say. Is the back design consistent with 1891-1892?
