School Records: Cullompton 1888-1908
« on: Sunday 18 January 15 23:24 GMT (UK) »
Hello Readers,

I have recently found (via FindMyPast) school records for four of my ancestors in Cullompton, from looking at the dates of enrolment and of leaving, it is fairly clear that these records equate to what we might now call infant school age.

The last attendance date is shown for each of them, from December 1888 through to October 1908 and the last register (1908) shows where each child on the page moved on to, such as: "Transferred to Boys S", or "Transferred to Girls S", or "Left Cullompton".  No hints were offered as to any other school records that might be available for 4~5year old plus children in Cullompton.

Does anyone know if there are records available, preferably On-Line, for the respective Boy's School and Girls School in Cullompton that these four ancestors would have transferred to?  If so where might these records be inspected?
