Molly I Gordon
« on: Sunday 25 January 15 15:34 GMT (UK) »
Known as Tibby. I have enough on her war years and found a web site giving the DOB as 1985 and death as 1970. What i would like to know is where she was born, research has informed me that her father was a J s Gordon living at Connagedale, Garmouth. Anyone up for a challenge?

Edit -Parents listed John S and Margaret Helen Gordon. She is listed as born in County Cavan Ireland

As Molly is a nickname for Mary  maybe her parents gave her original baptised name for the Roll of Honour :)

Also Tibby is a nickname for Isabella. So Mary Isabella could easily have been known as Molly or Tibby.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
