Lucy Kinsey
« on: Tuesday 10 February 15 17:28 GMT (UK) »
Hi we are looking for a Lucy Kinsey. We have a reference for her christening in Pencombe  c1812 with parents John Kinsey and Elizabeth Williams. Apart from this we cannot seem to find out what happened to her as we have not been able t find any references to marriage or death.

Any help or advice appreciated.

Emigrated? Much more likely is that they died.

Joseph Williams Kinsey, the youngest son of John Kinsey of Wackton, died 9th July 1833 aged 27.

John Kinsey, late innkeeper of the New Inn, Wacton, and farmer of Little Wacton, was bankrupted in February 1842. He died at the New Inn on 19th March 1842 aged 75.

Sorry I cannot help with Lucy Kinsey.
In case you do not have it:
Jane Kinsey, the youngest daughter of John Kinsey of Wackton, married at Wackton in April 1828 to W Knott of Shoulton, Worcestershire.

The info all came from old Herefordshire newspapers.

I intended to say that as the newspaper report for marriage of Jane calls her youngest daughter then it is highly likely that Lucy who was born after her would already have died.
