1871 census help please.
« on: Friday 13 February 15 11:10 GMT (UK) »
Hi all
Please can another pair of eyes try and locate this family for me, I cannot find them anywhere in 1871. Thomas Heatlie born 1805 in Roxburgh, married to Jane Grey around 1845ish. Anyway in 1861 they were living in Greenlaw Berwickshire Scotland with 5 of their children, I cannot find any of them in 1871 but in 1881 Jane his wife was living in Berwick Northumberland as a widower. I have just received Thomas Heatlies death certificate and it confirms that he died in 1880 in Berwick Northumberland. I have looked on both the 1871 census for England and Scotland but cannot locate this family, please can someone have a look for me. Also posted on Berwickshire Scotland thread.
Thanks in advance
Dawn
