Emily Mills married James Kearns

Emily Mills from Playden Rye (?) In Sussex married James Kearns, an Irish soldier in Portsmouth Cathedral in 1894. They lived for a while in Ireland but moved to Iden in 1909. Sadly he died within 3 months of moving there aged just 36.  Are there any descendants of the Mills family still living there? James was awarded two medals for service in the Boer War.

Apparently, Emily had just the 1 child, which had died before 1911.

Looks like she died without remarrying?
