Following back my CHARLTON line and searching with BLARS gives me

John MARSHALL of Harrold, yeoman, will dated 14 July 1722 (GA1833)

"...Uriah Ray and Edward Knight of Carlton are to see that grandson Samuel Charlton makes a jointure to daughter Judith Charlton of estate at Stopsley. Executors: grandson Samuel Charlton and wife Judith. "

and a lease dated 17-18 December 1731 (L3/28-29)
Conveyance (Lease & Release): 35 (i) Sam. Charlton of Harrold, yeo. and wife Judith gd. of Jn. Marshall deceased.

and in a title to an estate (X825/3)

a section dated 13 March 1728
"2) Release (lease not abstracted)
 
1) John Marshall of Harrold, yeoman (father of the bride)
 
2) Samuel Charlton the younger of Harrold, and Judith his wife (marrying parties)"

It also mentions "John Marshall of Carlton, yeoman Thomas Marshall (only son and heir of John) "


Trying to sort out these Marshalls and the marriage of Judith to Samuel Charlton using the IGI only reveals

Thomas MARSHALL bapt 27 Feb 1678 son of John
Judith MARSHALL bap 15 July 1701 dau of Thomas (& Mary Buckmaster?)

It doesn't find any marriage of Judith to Samuel nor a birth of Judith to father John MARSHALL

(Samuel & Judith's eldest son Marshall was baptised in Harrold 16 Jan 1724)

We Marsall Chaulton of Harrold, farmer and William Chaulton, farmer of Harrold and John Nealy of Carlton.... confirm that he is Samuel Chaulton, late of Harrold....
