If you are not aware, most Shropshire PRs are available on FindMyPast.

Parrock is a name I have and have struggled with it as they appear to be scattered throughout the county with little sign of settlement and interconenction.

Parrock is probably a Welsh name from the Welsh, 'ap Madoc,' meaning 'son of Madoc,' from which we also get names like Maddox. You'll also find the name as Paddock and Piddock.

Today I was looking at the Rowton Chapel in the Parish of High Ercall.
I noticed some baptisms of the surname Light.
