Looks like Julia Devey married a Eugene Sexton 1905 St Giles London according to his army records Eva Victoria Seton born 27/1/1907 India ...She is with her grandfather Edward in the later census ...Julia died 1908 in Kailana Muttra India 1908 ...Eugene married again

Thomas Edward Devey was a grocer's carter in 1911... a death for a Thomas Edward Devey born 20 February 1882 died December 1969 in Salford Lancashire age 87 years

Thank you for that death information. It does fit with the Thomas Edward DEVEY from the 1911 census born in 1882.

To recap:
The four children form Edward and Annie marriage -

Julia b.1876 married in 1905 to Eugene SEXTON and dies in 1908 in India. I wonder if their daughter Ena/Eva Victoria SEXTON stayed in England or went back to live with her father in query South Africa?

Marian b. 1878 - have not been able to find her. Did she marry or move to another country???

Jane b. 1880 - have not been able to find her. Did she marry or move to another country???

Thomas Edward b.1882 - query it appears that he went to sea for a time ( family tradition) and then changed his occupation. Thanks to help from this list I have his death.

It appears that Edward DEVEY b.1851 dies in 1931 in West Derby, Lancashire and his third wife Martha dies in 1917 in West Derby, Lancashire. Not sure what happened to his second wife. Elizabeth.
