Civil Bill Ejectments, 1827-1833
« on: Friday 20 February 15 18:12 GMT (UK) »
There is a "List of Civil Bill Ejectments, 1827-1833 Co.Down" posted on Raymond's County Down website at:

http://countydown.x10.mx/html/index2.htm

Would anyone know, for sure, if PRONI holds records for any of the cases where the plaintiff was Lord Dufferin and Claneboy?

Thanks

Stan

As it appears no one is able to answer my question, I will try with another, more general one.

Do records exist of hearings held in cases filed by the plaintiff?

(My interest is in land held by Lord Dufferin in the townland of Magherascouse. Parish of Comber).

not sure if this is what you are looking for
http://countydown.x10.mx/html/List%20of%20Civil%20Bill%20Ejectments.htm

That is the list I referred to in my original post. Note the heading of column 13 "Decreed or not, on Hearing or Consent".

I am looking for records that would provide more information on how decisions were made in cases brought forth under the Civil Bill Ejectments.
