Do you know where and when Alexander and Joan died?

I have no idea where Joan and Alexander died nor do I know when Joan died.  According to service records Alexander died in 1989 but no idea where.

Yes I did see that Joan was in Ancestry trees.

I don't have access to the London Times in the hope that their death notices are recorded.  I had a look for Alexander's probate record but couldn't locate it. 

I am a bit out of ideas other than posting to the Argentina board.

If you think they died in Argentina, then that sounds like a reasonable idea.

Lots of possible marriages for the daughter in this country (or abroad..), so death information for parents would  be useful.

Would probate be in this country if died in Argentina?

I looked for Alexander's probate on the UK Wills site without success so I assume probate must have been in Argentina, if this is where they died.

I might re-post and see if anyone has access to newspapers in which Alexander's death in 1989 is located possibly?
