F.L. Ringham, 123 Borden Rd. Tunbridge, Kent.

F.L. Ringham, who gave his wartime address as 123 Borden Rd. Tunbridge, Kent was a crew member of 102 Squadron's Halifax W7652 that was lost 16 June 1942 on operations to Essen.

Sergeant Ringham and my father were POWs together at Stalag Luft VI and Stalag 357, during that time Ringham drew the cartoon on the left in my father's log book.

There are 50 prisoners named in my father's POW "Wartime Log."  https://wallyswar.wordpress.com/pow-log/

I am attempting to find a wartime photograph of each individual, so far I have found 23.  My efforts so far can be seen here.  https://wallyswar.wordpress.com/other-pows/

I am hopeful that through this website I can find a wartime photograph of F.L. Ringham and hopefully a little more information.

Regards, David Layne.

David,

Whilst we cannot help with a photograph, the address shown should read 133 Barden Road, Tonbridge, Kent

Kind Regrads,

Al & Al

David,

Having looked into a 1936 Register of Electors, his name is shown as Frederick Leonard Ringham, with others at the same address being (all Ringhams) : George Thomas, Eleanor, & Stephen George

Kind Regards,

Al & Al

Thank you Al & Al for the spelling corrections and for the airman's Christian names.
