Claydon/Cleydon and Fremer of Twyford before 1682

Nicholas Cleydon d.1727 and Anne Fremer d.1699 were married at Twyford on 25th September 1682 and I have had no problem from that date in tracing their offspring etc in the Parish Register.  I have been searching for their christenings/parents to no avail.  I did find one birth/christening year for Nicholas of 1662 online but that would only make him 20 years old at the time of his marriage.  Has anyone come across either of these surnames/persons in their research before 1682?  Thank you.

There are quite a lot of marriages for Cleydon/den on FreeREG in Bucks -about 15, all between 1607 and 1770.

Hi Opal,

How sure of you of the death date (1699) of Ann (the mother), is it possible the death could be of Nicholas and Ann's daughter Ann who was bapt. 1684 ?

As there is this baptism:

Mary CLEYDON born  4 June 1700 bapt. 9 June 1700 Twyford, father Nicholas.

Thank you for both replies to my post.
1.  I will take a look at the Free Reg.
2.  Yes, I am not sure with Anne's death and yes, it could be their daughter.  I had previously found Mary's christening of 1700 but had also found a 1691 date for her so wasn't really sure which way to go.  I think accessing the Twyford Parish Register will give me the definitive answers rather than relying on data online!
I was really hoping that someone would recognise the Nicholas Cleydon and Anne Fremer names from their own research. Thank you.
