Rootschat signing on and 'full site' problem
« on: Friday 27 February 15 21:16 GMT (UK) »
When I visit Rootschat from my p.c I am already signed in and the full site appears but when I use my I pad it never takes me to the 'full' site and I always have to log in even though the'keep me logged in' has been ticked .
It has only been a problem over the past couple of weeks. Can any one tell me how to make it easier to use once again from the I pad please :) poli

Whizz down to the bottom of the screen and you can go over to the full site rather than the strange blue stuff :)

Thanks for replying Craclyn, I have been doing that but it's only recently that I have been unable to automatically go to the full site and been asked to sign in every time. No probs when using pc only when using the iPad. Poli  ::)

Do you have rootschat on your favourites bar? I access it this way on my ipad and don't generally have any issues.

i have an icon for Roots on both pc and iPad, on the opening screens --works for the pc which takes me 'in'and signed on to the full site but the iPad icon only takes me to the bit were as Craclyn suggests, you scroll right down for ages and press 'Take me to the full site' were i am requested EVERY time to sign in  ::) ::) ::) poli

My next suggestion would be to delete the icon/link you have on your ipad. Log in, get to the view you want and then save the link afresh.

I am using Rootschat on my ipad and it is only very rarely that it revert to the other blue view. No problems at the moment, so I am guessing that your issue is not being caused by any changes rootschat have made.

I find the same Craclyn. On occassion mine reverts to the blue screen but I don't know what prompts it. It does happen very rarely though.

I canīt see what triggers it either Ruskie. One idea was that it happened after logging in on another machine but that is not giving a consistent effect. Strange, but it is so rare that I am not particularly concerned about it.
