Hi

Thank you everyone for that, the father was John Joseph Williams and the mother was Elsie Laura Lillian Williams nee Marshall, so it looks as if she was staying with my grandmothers parents, Frederick George and Laura Jessie Marshall.

1935/1936 (just before they married)
127 Casino Ave
Elsie Laura Lilian Marshall
Frederick George Marshall
Laura Jane Marshall (nee Kettle)?
Ophelia Jane Marshall, she was married to Richard Marshall,  I suspect these were parents of Frederick, also suspect you have this info

Good result then ?

Hi Louisa maud

I only had Frederick's father Robert from the marriage certificate but thanks to you I now have his mother Ophelia and have found them in the 1901 census.
What is the best way forward now to find out where Brenda was buried?

Really only as I mentioned in my previous message,  do you think the Marshalls had a family grave, where was Robert Marshall buried?

Raymonds wife Kathleen and his 2 yr old son sadly were civilian deaths in 1944, according to findagrave  they are buried in Camberwell Cemetery and Crematorium, perhaps other family buried there?
I think you could contact Southwark council, dealing with cemeteries etc and possibly obtain details but they will probably charge, saying that I looked for a burial a couple of years ago there and it was nt charged.
