That would be possibility Gerry.  We had one the other day where someone from Scotland named an Aunt, on investigation the Aunt was born in the  USA - we couldn't match the pair.
As Shelly has pointed out the 1910 and 1915 entries are 8th Street rather than Avenue. But some coincidence that a Netta/Nettie Doherty lived there  ??? Perhaps Shelly will come up with something.

Sandra this is the address James Breslin claimed he was going to stay with in New York. I hope you can make it out.

On the previous thread - reply 4 - you said " We also have some form of legal document in relation to property been sold belonging to James Breslins mother in new york which came as a surprise"

What is the address of that property ? What can you tell us about the mother of James Breslin who must have lived in New York according to what you said ??? Looks like Mrs E Breslin on the passenger list  ???  Have you found this family on the 1901 census  ???

There are 2 entries for the Columbia - New York Passenger List arriving 12 Nov 1907 gives occupation as reporter and the UK Outward Passenger List departing Londonderry 2 November 1907 gives his occupation as plummer  ???  Could just be an error -  ???

Hi Sandra since we last spoke I have been able to obtain the rest of the documents from the Surrogate court of the county of kings. this led me to another set of family called the Sweenys. they owned a property at 264 Glasson Ave Brooklyn. From the documents I got I was able to locate James Breslins family in Tarentum Pennsylvania.  I did contact them but I had one reply and nothing since despite repeated contacts from me. I
