Marriage Elizabeth Beggs to Robert Ferris, June 7, 1916

I have learned that there was a marriage of Elizabeth beggs to Robert Ferris on June 7, 1916. Can anyone tell me the names of the parents, particularly for Elizabeth Beggs? I looked on familysearch but there is no info there.

Hi,
   The couple were married in Oldpark Presbyterian Church Belfast and the fathers' names were William John Ferris and John Lawson Beggs. A John Lawson beggs married Jane Beggs (maiden name) in Ballylinney Presbyterian Church. Antrim district on 26 may 1858.

john lawson beggs father is thomas beggs & jane beggs father is robert beggs.

thank you, maryderry. I did have that info. But what I am wondering about now is the death of Elizabeth Ferris nee Beggs. I did find a possible date Jan 3, 1944 but I want to be sure it is the correct Elizabeth Ferris. There is no indication on familysearch. Would anyone be able to check and see if this Elizabeth is the widow of Robert Ferris who I think died long before her? I have a previous note saying that this marriage was very brief and I am now wondering if it is because Robert died not long after their marriage in 1916.

P.S. John Lawson Beggs father Thomas married Margaret Boyd who is my gg grandmother's sister.

The online Irish civil registration index on Family Search only goes up to 1921 for Northern Ireland counties. You can order the death certificate from GRONI- it will list marital status but not spouse.

I have done quite a bit on the Beggs family -  slightly related, I think - remember meeting a couple whom mymother told me were Victor and Lily Beggs - I guess she was using Lily's maiden name.

Dont have my data at the moment, but will get back in 1-2 days....

Actually called in at a home oppositethe Halfway House, but the guy wasnt interested.
