The Canadian Passenger List entry is for the Tunisian but no further details.

17 February 1914 border crossing for Hannah and Charlotte gave brother john White 56 Drakesville Road. Could be Minehead but then it could be Nunhead S E London

Her brother John William Henry WHITE died 1914 and per his probate record his address was 56 Drakefield Rd Nunhead Deptford Kent.

Thanks all the info you have given has been a great help.
I think her entry into USA must have been about 1869. I cannot find her on the 1871 English census so was wondering if there is anything for her on the 1870 USA census. I cannot find a marriage for Hannah WHITE and John JONES in England so they may have married in the USA.

Couldn't find anything conclusive when I looked for her or them on passenger lists and didn't find a marriage.  The marriage could have been anywhere along the journey. First child born California May 1871
Did find a Hannah Jones in Oakland in 1870 of the right age but no John with her (wasn't sure if that was just a coincidence)

Thanks for having a look Sandra appreciate that the name JONES and WHITE are so common.
Would like to find a marriage to confirm his parents.
There is a John Andrews JONES born to Thomas Meredith JONES and Jane in 1832 Totnes Devonshire which looks likely but need more proof.

Can't find a death record for John A Jones which might have been helpful.  Did you notice on the image for the family in 1880 - there was a Hannah White aged 28 listed as a servant - cook born Ireland. (just below Charlotte)
