Hudgins family.

I would appreciate any help. I am researching the family of Thomas Hudgins for a friend. There are several published memoirs that tell this family story but there is no proof of their life in Liverpool or Llandaff, Wales. Thomas Hudgins was born c.1660. He married an Elizabeth Morgan. They had 4 sons:William b.1702, John, Lewis b.1706, and Robert. The family ran a line of sailing ships out of Liverpool. Around 1743 they left Liverpool to settle in Virginia. Their life  is well documented in Virginia , and some of them  went to Canada as United Empire Loyalists. The family had a connection with Llandaff, Wales. One story relates that Robert was sheriff of the area.

Any information on the Hudgins family would be appreciated.

Yes, the family in this article is the same one. I have seen an excerpt from it before but not the author at the bottom. Thank you. I should investigate the address although it is old. Thank you for the lead.
