No idea where to look next for Thomas and Ellen Entwistle

I agree heywood but if she was born in Newfoundland Canada then I was wondering if there would be a record of them travelling over there before the birth and of them returning afterwards?

I've just had an epiphany - I honestly couldnt remember why I hadnt recorded some of the information given to me on this branch of my tree before and why I dismissed this line t now I can remember why.

If, as suggested the below record is correct (& I believe now that it is) then Abraham isn't a entwistle at birth and so my own name comes in to question; I suppose I'd hoped for something different at the time.

I thought you were descended from Thomas who was born after the marriage of Abraham and Ellen.

With regard to Newfoundland for Michael and Ellen, I wondered if there could be a military connection for the travel.

I am descended from Thomas, but his father Abraham seems to be the son of John Holt so it would seem he's the first of the Entwistles - unless of course Abrahams mother can be proved to have the name.
