Thank you so much. I now have to delete the Heath family en masse! But I do feel much more comfortable now I have the correct information. Thanks again.

Found all of them on Family Search. Thank you. Who knows I might even be able to go back a bit further now!😀

A James and Ann Fuller are also having children at that sort of time.  Maybe a brother for William?  James is a farmer.    Annoyingly, there is no occupation given for William.

William was a farmer on Ann's marriage cert. no mention if deceased but he was probably dead by 1844, in fact had I found a death But was in Hartfield so probably the wrong one.

Could I just ask if Ann and John W Pipe were married in 1844 were they living together prior to marriage or if not whose child is the Thomas John W b c 1839 Bromley?

Just wanted to get it straight in my mind!

Thomas John Wilgress Pipe was born 27 Jan 1839; christened 22 Nov 1857, mother Ann Richards, father John Wilgress Pipe (mis- spelt as Wilguss on Family Search) (Batch) Number: C03717-1 GS Film number: 568022 at SAINT BOTOLPH BISHOPGATE,LONDON,LONDON,ENGLAND.

You've succeeded in getting me confused now!- because there are so many John Wilgress and Thomas Wilgress Pipes but at least with that christening record I can be certain of the right parents. But it doesn't tell us where he was actually born. Ann was born at Worth, now a part of E. Grinstead & John in Ipswich. I looked for a clue to check we've got the right family on the '51 census but there's no occupation for John.

Please do let me know if you succeed in finding them on the '41 Census
