Dear Roy
Have you tried Scotspeople?
I've done a quick free search and found the following for 1841-1851 deaths/burials
1 Peter Kellys died in Glasgow 1846 OPC burials and 1 in 1847
1 Peter Kelly died in the catholic burials 1841
1 Susan Kelly died in Glasgow on the catholic burials in 1851

I can't find out more without buying credits or spending ages playing with the free search for different parishes  in Glasgow etc

The 1841 census you found all the children are born in Ireland so it's no good looking for their births/baptisms or parents marriage in Scotland. It is possible the family went back to Ireland.

Have a look for yourself
