1880s Caz but hard to tell what part because she's all covered up....by the back probably mid decade.

If this photographer is actually entitled to the royal warrant he is displaying it must be because he's related to somebody...this is an awful photo and he should be locked up in the Tower

I think mid-late 1870's.

We'll split the different and  say late 70s, early 80s maybe?? 

It looks 70s to me from just comparing the  back design to other 1870s that have already been dated, but it's a shame we can't see the dress full length.

I wouldn't argue with 80 or even late 70s. That pleated skirt is more 70s but I've seen them in the 80s. Hey Caz...take your choice
