Help finding Norman Brookes b.1901
« on: Thursday 26 March 15 21:39 GMT (UK) »
Norman Brookes was born in Staffordshire England in 1901 he moved to North Battleford in Saskatchewan Canada 1903, with his parents Elijah and Mary Jane (Polly).

I dont know what happened to him after this and would like to find if he married and had children.

His sister Daisy who is 5 years older moved back to England in 1933 with her husband Thomas Bush, but their parents remained in Canada.

If someone could help me find more about him it would me most appreciated!

The Battleford entry looks good but its difficult to say if it is the same Norman on some other entries.

Norman and Hazel Brooks in Regina Saskatchewan in 1963. Norman's occupation :- Porter.

and again in Regina 1972 this group of Brooks. - John Brooks (Manager) Kay Brooks. Patricia and Joyce (students)  Norman Brooks (labourer) and Mrs Isola Brooks -

This is an obituary that would seem to connect Martha Legasse  to Norman and Hazel Brooks (but we don't know that this is your Brooks family yet - so can't count then in or out yet - posting just in case)

We can discount the 1972 entry Norman and Isola Brooks - he was Norman Victor Brooks married to  Isola Neomi Welsch. Father William Henry BROOKS 1863-1936
