Well, now you can go that little bit further back in time!

IIRC I have other relations in both NZ and Aus to whom you (or your husband) are (therefore) definitely related.

My Husband is the the Willows descendant. Henry Drant Willows married Annie Fletcher Boycott COOKSON. They had 7 children and so there are many Willows descendants in Australia, Sarah Drant Willows Married Sidney Harold Norris. the grandparents of my husband.

I believe Sussanah Drant who Married William Kennington had a son Benjamin Thomas Kennington who became a well known British artist.

Sussanna Willows daughter of GH Willows and SA Drant Married  William Reynolds Gibbons. There is a town in Canada near Edmonton named Gibbons after this family and quite a few families there are related to this line as well.

Quite a well traveled family I would say.

An amazing coincidence. Today we were in Bendigo for the Easter festival and visited the Bendigo Art Gallery where Trevor  discovered a painting by Thomas Kennington called "Homeless".

I'd love to continue the discussion!
