Elizabeth Griffiths and Arthur Jordan

In Nov 1866 the above couple married in Stoke Newington. Elizabeth stated her father was Apollos Griffiths a Grocer, I presume this Elizabeth was in fact Betsey Maria and one of the witnesses was Louisa Clayton ( Mary Louisa Griffiths, Betsey's sister, had married Theophilus Hastings Clayton the other Witness.)
Both Elizabeth and Arthur are shown as minors, Betsey Maria was born 3Q 1845 so in Nov 1866 would have been of full age. Arthur states his father was William Jordan a Beer-seller, the only Arthur that appears to fit the facts perhaps tenuously is Arthur Jordan the son of William Jeremiah Jordan b 4Q 1850 in Hackney however William Jeremiah was a Wine Merchant. I can trace Arthur and Betsey in the 1851 and 1861 census but after the marriage I cannot find any trace of either of them as a married couple or separately. Any help or ideas appreciated.

They may have emigrated if they just disappear.  Or they both died soon after marriage 

Someone couldn't add up with the ages unless she didn't want to appear older than her husband.

The Arthur you found does seem to fit.  His father was deceased by the time he married as the certificate says and the groom was certainly a minor.

I have checked deaths and there is no suitable candidates, perhaps emigration but have not found a record perhaps someone may find some record. i also checked for a birth as i wondered if the reason for the marriage was pregnancy

Do you know what happened to the Claytons?  I see them in 1871 with two young children but not after that, although one daughter may be with other relatives later on

Baptism for Arthur son of William Jeremiah gentleman and Eliza was on 27 July 1855 but no birth date given. 
There's an Ernest baptised on the same day with same parents.

Re the Clayton's Theophilus died in 1876 he and Mary Louisa are my GG grandparents Mary Louisa married Theophilus brother John in 1878. Re the baptism I had found this but GRO and census indicate he was born 1850
