Wanted photo of OLD Phoenix pub in morpeth
« on: Tuesday 31 March 15 16:20 BST (UK) »
One of my Ancestors lived and died in this pub around 1891 managed by a George Kerr at the time, I believe it was located around where the Dawnson and Sanderson is now located approximately across from the old Morpeth herald office.

The Old phoenix was still in operation i think in the earlier 1900's not to be confused with the other phoenix pub which was located across the road where the heart foundation shop is now.

As such i am trying to find a photo if one exists, so far it has been quite tricky as most photos for this street have been shot from either end and as such you cannot quite make the pub out.

thanks in advance

Probably started by me, but at the time but no photos. But time changes with new people joining i thought it was worth a try to see if anyone had come up with something since.
