Frank Malthouse
« on: Wednesday 01 April 15 18:31 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me as I am completely stumped. I am trying to find information on Frank Malthouse who was born in 1870 in the U.S.A. but I do now know where in the U.S.A. He went to England and married Ellen Mary Woodward in 1901 in Leeds and they had 8 children.
What I have been trying to find out is 1. Where was he born?
                                                      2. When did he go to England?
                                                      3. Who are his parents?

Thank you.

Statewide registration of births in Pennsylvania were not required until 1906.  Prior to this, you would probably need to know the County and State and look for Church Records if these still exist.

Looks like brother Henry Malthouse (1869) was also listed as born USA on the 1881 census. Looks like they were only in the USA a short time as Tom was born 1874 UK. Unfortunately the return passenger lists do not start until 1878
