Cityark Medway help finding my Holloways

Is it possible to do a namesearch on Cityark? I'm finding it very cumbersome - although I'm very grateful to it; don't get me wrong!
Any hints on researching my Holloway/ Hollaway/ Oliver family who stayed around Strood, Chatham, Rochester from 1770s to late c19th? I'm trying to eliminate those who died young so as to follow the survivers, and not confuse them with cousins who as usual inhabit same places with same names. Manchester's a long way from Medway....
