Hello,

I have a relative who according to his 1858 death cert died at Watsonhall and was buried in Monkton Churchyard.  Can anyone please tell me what was Watsonhall was?

Go to the National Library of Scotland maps website, click on "Series Maps", then scroll down and click on the six inches to a mile Ordnance Survey maps for 1843-1882. You will find Watsonhall just outside the village of Monkton.
