Hello there

Charles Layton married Elizabeth Cork in Bexley on 17 Oct 1790. The witnesses were Henry and Mary (nee Hooker) Weeks

The couple had 5 children in Eynsford - Anne 1792 (d 1794). Thomas 1794, Mary 1796, John 1798, and Ann 1800 (d 1819 in Eynsford)

I can find no record of a baptism for Charles or for Elizabeth, neither can I find any record of them (more children, burials etc) after 1800.

Can anyone help please?

William LATHAM son of Charles & Elizabeth was baptised 12th September 1802 at Eynsford.

I'm sure this is a surname that has many variants.  Have your tried LEYTON?

Many thanks for the additional child.

I've tried other spellings of Layton (Leyton / Leighton) but hadn't gone as far off piste as Latham.
