Death dates for William and Rees

I am currently finishing my research on my fathers side.

William Watkin was born in 1775, son of Rees and Mary in Neath.

He married Catherine Reynolds in Neath and had a child named William in 1802, whom was baptised in 1818 aged 16.

When did William die? There are multiple possibilities on free bmd. There is one in 1842, but that's his son.

Also, could someone please locate a possible death record for his father Rees? Rees was born in Neath in 1744.
