Hi,
A possibility. 8 Jun 1849 Isabella Fleming married James McCormick in Scarva St. Presbyterian Church, Banbridge. The fathers' names were Alexander Fleming and George McCormick.

Thank you, I have that record and also a marriage between Alexander Fleming and Mary Frazer 1821, what I don't have is either Alexander or Mary's death or where they are buried.

The GRONI website has the death of a Mary Fleming on 29 November 1882 aged 84 registered in Banbridge.  A possibility.

Civil registration of deaths began in Ireland in 1864.  I had a quick look for Alexander from that year without finding him.

Hi,
The Griffiths Valuation for Banbridge, dated 1863, shows an Alexander Fleming renting a house, outbuildings, yard and a small garden in Rathfryland Street in Banbridge. The Valuation Revision books may give an indication when he left these premises - possibly when he died.

Hi,
I have checked the Revision Books and they show that the tenancy had changed by 1870.

Thank you for your help, the Mary Fleming you have found is about the right age as she was married 1821, so that would mean her birth would be about 1798. I have an Isabella Fleming who married James McCormick 1849 (direct ancestors) they give their address as Ballydorn, I presume that is a village/township of Banbridge. How could I find where she is buried as there is a good possibility that Alexander is interred there as well. The 1901 Census Doughery Banbridge had a William 82, his family and also his sister May Ann 75, they both died in 1905, (on Ancestry UK) I have found them to be siblings of Isabella Fleming children of Alexander and Mary. Another son Alexander died in US 1906.
Regards
Margaret

Ballydorn is a townland in the parish of Killinchy probably about 25 miles from Banbridge.  There is a lot of information about County Down on the Ros Davies site including including plenty of entries for Flemings.  You can also see the location of Ballydorn right on the shores of Strangford Lough.

A newspaper search for a death notice is one possibility for finding the burial place of Mary Fleming in 1882.
