Parish record look up please

Jacob Cutting born in 1895 Bury St Edmunds.  Has any member access to the parish records?  We are looking for Jacob's mother's name possibly Florence, the father's name would be a bonus.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looking at the 1901 census Jacob is listed as son of William and Isabella Cutting and Florence is Florence Legrand. There is also a Louis Legrand listed as Grandson. So it looks like [Caroline] Florence had Jacob out of wedlock and her parents called him their son (quite common). There is a marriage in 1899 for a Florence Cutting in the Strand RD with a 50% chance that the spouse is Paul Legrand. Where he is in 1901 I don't know.

Yes pjm, I have those details, gather Florence and her son Louis must be visiting her parents as she is also on the 1901 census living with her husband Paul in Westminster.
Florence Cutting Legrande age 23. Estimated birth year 1878,wife.
Spouse Paul Legrande

Paul was a French subject and working as a Hotel Manager.

Cannot find them in 1911 maybe went back to France.

Just out of interest Jacob was a twin, twin Daniel died at birth.

Sue, Thanks for the baptism which could be our Jacob, but think bit more research needed as there is a Caroline Florence working as a servant  in 1901

From the Suffolk Burial Index

Daniel Cutting, son of Florence, abode Thinghoe Union House, buried 19 Feb 1895 BSt Eds Cemetery (age 12hours).

So there may have been two Ms Cutting's in Thinghoe UH in Feb 1895 - Florence & Caroline Florence.  Unless she had twins - there is a 4 day gap between bpt of Jacob & burial of Daniel.  Perhaps someone can help with a bpt for Daniel as well.

ps.  Births were registered seemingly at the same time  FreeBMD MarQ 1895 4a/825 B St Eds.  Seems to suggest that Caroline Florence & Florence may be one & the same
