Sorry, but can anyone explain more about this 'job'..

I have a few Glove Hand workers in my lot and just would like to know
a little more about them.

My understanding is that it was one branch of framework knitting; diddymiller's post would suggest that's correct.

So instead of knitting stockings, they knitted gloves!

Did FWKs ever knit jumpers? You never see that mentioned!
