Could anyone tell me anything about this photo and what uniform he is wearing please...This photo has Hull connections..so I wondered if it could be the East Riding Yeomanry.

Can't get much from that photo - everything that might be of use is too small to distinguish.

The cap badge would give the regiment, shoulder tabs or sleeve cuff could give rank, medal ribbon could help a bit with date.  But they are all just blurs.

If you have the original can you scan at a high resolution and post crops of these bits?

Good evening,

He has a cuff rank showing him to be either a Major or Lt Colonel. Both had three rings around cuff but can't see if there is a crown or crown & pip.

Unable to tell regt as yet but will have another go.
